Helping on Show Days

We're really proud of our show days and how well they're run, but it is a lot of work to setup, run and take down every month.

Please support your club by offering to help either before or on the day.

We have a working party on the Thursday / Friday / Saturday before each show (specific date and time to be advertised in advance) to setup jumps and other areas on the show field.

Help is always required on the day, be it pole picking or organising entries going in and out of a ring. And of course, we have a lot to put away at the end of the show and many hands make light work.

As a thank you, if you are able to offer assistance in any form, you will be rewarded with a free class entry for next show.

Presentation Evening 2026

The 51th Presentation Evening will take place at the King’s Hall & Winter Gardens, Station Road, Ilkley LS29 8HB on Saturday, 28th November 2026.

Dinner, trophies & rosettes to 4th place, raffle and disco with Guest of Honour TBC.

Large screen on the stage with a slide show of competitors throughout the season, is shown during dinner. The image of the champion of each class is shown during the Presentation. Come and enjoy a wonderful evening with your family and friends. Help support the Yorkshire Air Ambulance – buy lots of raffle tickets and hopefully win one of the excellent prizes.
