Schedules for the 2010 Points Shows are available now. Copies have been sent out to all Club members with the Start of Season Newsletter.  Please send SAE with large 2nd class stamp to Jenny Keir, 61 Cleasby Road, Menston LS29 6HW for your copy.

The schedule of events for 2010 is:

•  Pre-season show - Sunday 18th April

• 1st points show - Sunday 16th May

• Trophy Show & Novelty Dog Show - Sunday 30th May

•  2nd points show - Sunday 20th June

•  3rd points show - Sunday 18th July

•  4th points show - Sunday 15th August

• Team Showjumping - Saturday 4th September 

• 5th points show - Sunday 19th September

The IDRA Committee look forward to welcoming all members and non-members in the new 2010 season.

General Information

This website has been designed to provide members and potential members of IDRA with all the information they require to participate in our 2010 show season and beyond. For those who are new to IDRA the club holds shows from April to September (see Events) and the schedule offers showing, show jumping, equitation, in-hand and working hunter classes to suit all ages, experience and pony/horse type. Ilkey & District Riding Association prides itself on being a friendly, well run club that attracts riders from complete novices seeking to gain experience of the show environment, to those with plenty of experience wishing to participate in challenging and competitive classes that will provide a stepping stone to regional and national level events.  

This year we are affiliated with UK Showing (www.ukshowing.co.uk) that holds summer and winter championships, Prestige Equine Events (www.prestigeequineevents.co.uk),  P(UK)Pollyanna (www.poniesuk.org) and Equifest (www.equifest.org.uk) for IDRA members only.  All of these championships are available to qualify for at the outlined shows in the schedule.
